Avarest to Avarest by Norma Brown

This is the life story of Norma H. Brown in which she desribes her journey from childhood home 'Avarest' in Jandowae to her most recent home in Longreach affectionatley dubbed 'Avarest.' The book spans an era of approximately 75 years. Through her detailed and often humerous recollections, she relates the harsh realities of living, working and raising a family in the Australian bush and also expresses her deep passion for the lifestyle and her family.
